Photo platformer
A platformer is a run-and-jump game: cross the level, jump over pits, climb the steps and reach the flag. In this one you play as your photo, shown in a little frame, and the same photo scrolls past in the background.
The enemies and the things to collect are named after what is in the picture. Two kinds of enemy can be stomped, but the spiky one has to be jumped over.

How it works
- Open CamJam.Fun on your phone or computer, tap Upload or Camera and choose a photo.
- The site looks at the photo, names the enemies and collectibles after it and builds the levels. Platformer is one of the games it may pick.
- On a phone, use the left, right and jump buttons on screen. On a computer, use the arrow keys and Space.
- Hold jump for a higher jump. Every pit can be cleared in one jump, and each level is longer than the last.
Questions
Can I make a platformer from my own photo?
Yes, on the home page. The site picks the game that suits the photo, so you may get a different kind. Photos of a pet or a person often work well for a platformer.
Is it hard?
The first level is gentle and the levels get longer as you go. Pits are always short enough to jump in one go.
Is it free?
Yes. Making and playing games is free and there is no account to create. The site is paid for by advertising.
Is my game public?
Yes. Every game made on the home page is saved with its own link so you can share it, and games that pass an automatic review can appear in the public gallery. Do not use a photo you would not want others to see.
