Photo memory game
A memory game deals a set of face-down cards. Turn over two at a time and try to find the pairs. Here the pictures on the cards are pieces of a photo, so the game is about your picture.
Play the game below, made from a garden picture we drew, or use your own photo and the cards are cut from it on your device.
Your photo stays on this device. Nothing is uploaded or saved.
How it works
- Tap a card to turn it over, then tap another. If they match they stay face up. If not, they turn back.
- Each pair also has its own colour and symbol, so a photo with large plain areas is still fair.
- A clock counts down. Every match adds time, and clearing a board deals a bigger one: 12 cards, then 16, then 20.
- On a computer, the arrow keys and Space work as well as clicks.
Questions
Is my photo uploaded when I use my own?
No. The game is made in your browser and nothing is sent or saved.
Is it good for children?
Yes. A memory game made from a family photo is a nice way for young children to practise matching, and the first board is small.
What photos work best?
Photos with plenty going on: a busy room, a garden, a group of friends, a shelf of toys. Every card is cut from a different part of the picture, so a photo with lots of detail gives cards that are easier to tell apart.
Can I share my game?
A game made on this page stays on your device. To get a link you can share, make a game on the home page, where games are saved and public.
Is it free?
Yes. Making and playing games is free and there is no account to create. The site is paid for by advertising.
